New Purpose

Thank you, Larry Schell, for asking to see my web sites. Spurred me to clean the files and get them up to a reasonable level of appearance/coherance. In the past this web log has been used to try out new templates nd to explore the technicalities of blogging. Occasionally it was used as a place to talk to myself. From now on the talking to myself will be in another blog. This blog will tell people where I am or what I am working on. This week I am going to cousin Diana's for Thanksgiving, a birthday party for my aquafitness coach, and maybe down to see Philip and Helen. Will be working on fogg.us, pgc and nigel... Note: I am able to send an email from my new Treo and have it post automatically to this web site. Unfortunately Blogger will not automatically display any pictures attached to the email. But Blogger appear to be working on this.

the blog at theoarmour.com is working again! it may have been the FrontPage extensions that was preventing publishing before.

How to juggle the data that is on different computers? I suppose it is a privilege to have this problem. So many of the what used to be usual housekeeping tasks are now no longer required or automated that is is possible to run many computers dedicated to the same tasks. (before each computer was dedicated to different tasks so it was a much easier thing to manage. but now I want to do email on several computers, keeps notes and lists, etc on each of them always synchronized. and have this even when I not connected to the other computers or the Internet. Still so difficult. so just now, I checked mail using webmail created a new note in a separate pst file kept my diary by blogging

I'm quite happy with my blogging. Extreme Publishing is up and running. The whole thing is remotely controlled. I've started my data blogs. I'm getting used to working this - learning to press the post and publish button and *not* the reload button. Wiuith the data page, I think I will start creating France pages - then the others. Also I need to get the data to the Treo using HandStory. One thing I've not worked on is my diary. Perhaps it becomes several different diaries. This one is for web develpment. Well, after a number of hours on chast support with featureprice, I figured out how to get this blogger blog going. It all has to do with paths. Featureprice was not very helpfuil, but they proved that that ftp was working under a variety of conditions, this the error was in my court. After a number of trial and error tries, I hit the one that works, yeah!.
